Personally I found that losing weight isn't about exercise. Yes, it's necessary and a good thing, but as a weight loss tool it doesn't make a huge difference as the calorie burn isn't enough to offset calorie intake.
It's all about what you eat/drink and calories in vs calories out.

Re: Your Most Challenging MOTORCYCLE Ride
In terms of riding, probably hardnott pass, 2 up with camping gear, on a BH Monday on a bike I struggled to reach the floor on.
The issue wasn’t the road itself, that was fine, it was oncoming traffic with no passing places. I just bullied my way past everyone. If I had to stop on some of those ...

Stopped off at Turunc on a boat trip, it was a bit of a building site, they're rebuilding the sea defense wall. Had a beer in beach bar that had the upstairs terrace.
Yeah, had some bad storms a couple of months ago and they’ve dragged their feet sorting it. Should be done before the season ...

I think there’s definitely a resurgence of lower capacity bikes, especially off road types.
Also Chinese seems to be hitting the market in a big way, for good or for bad.

Most peoples faith is based upon a good and benevolent God, so they wont see your claims as anything other than disrespectful and antagonistic.
I’ve never been able to square away the fact that a ‘good and benevolent God’ would demand exclusive devotion on the pain of burning in hell for all ...

We’ve got it at a couple of customers sites where they are out in the sticks and can’t get proper connectivity.
It’s good on the whole. Reliable and quick. Not brilliant for voip and video due to a relatively high latency.

Are you sure he’s been charged?
Seems quite quick - normally released pending enquiries while they get statements etc before a charging decision is made?
I could however be talking complete bollocks.

Anything transiting the ME is going to be dodgy, but flights are running elsewhere, even Cyprus, with no real issues.
We’ve got our usual turkey flights booked and will be going (assuming the flight goes ahead).
Got no long haul booked currently though.

We had 3 weeks in the US in October, started with a week in Michigan where everything was a huge Ford or Chevy pickup. Flew to Las Vegas where it was a little more European and then drove up to San Francisco and down to LA where it was loads of Teslas and European again.

Re: self driving vehicle on UK motorways in 2023
Today my Togota scared the shit out of me. Nosing into a parking space with a big wall in front. I thought I was approaching it cautiously and was fully aware that I needed to brake. Car decided it knew better, emitted a LOUD klaxon noise, put a big red 'Brake!' banner across most of the screen ...
