Q1 2026 EV sales in California are down 40% from Q1 2025..



As always, its a bit more nuanced.
Car sales in general in California are subdued, the tax credit for EVs has been dropped and various factors covered here...

Local charging station by a carwash, near a reasonable dog walking area.
39p per Kwh.
Doesnt seem too hard to rock up with dog, charge car and while its charging walk the dog.
Anyone with a dog should bloody well walk it regularly anyway, do both at the same time.

Tyre wear causes pollution too. Especially on heavy EV's constantly accelerating and decelerating.

Euro 7 will be definitely limiting brake emissions and is also looking at tyre abrasion too.

The particles will end up in water courses and so as a polluting factor should be considered when ...

Paramo Velez Evolution smock/jacket thing.
Its sold as for skiers/alpine climbers and fellwalkers but its a waterproof jacket and as I walk the dog in all weathers and sometimes in the fells its something I could fire on without loads of midlayers.
Tried one of these on in a local (ish) outdoors ...
