did you measure the fork spring length whilst you were there? chances are theyre worn beyond the service limit if original.

I had a Guzzi V7 II (the 750 one, not the newer 850).

It was a lovely thing, but dog dog slow and I couldn't make it handle. It's certainly no quicker than the 650 Enfield.

i really enjoyed it. the bike felt light and nimble and was good fun at legal speeds with an engine that likes to rev and likes to rumble. its more for country lanes ...

kidnap a few cats. tie them in the garden with enough rope to reach the rats and dont feed them.

i shoot the rats in my garden. modern gas powered air rifles are extremely accurate and easy to use.
