Welcome to the Internet.

But in seriousness you've not really offered anything for anyone to discuss yet?
Oh and why is that I wonder?

Such a welcoming forum this, open minded, inclusive, thoughtful...

Gonna take a flying guess that despite asking if this can be blamed on God, you're not interested in any opinion which does not align with your own.

Re: A question on religious theology. The CoE to apologise (again).

I just got back and the topic of forced adoption is something that is quite relevant to me.

Obviously.

But I get it, you don't want my input on this topic. Fine. I'll wait until something interesting turns up.

Don't wait up.

I have seen some of the disparaging remarks but I have actually been on holiday.

But hey ho, I guess you're telling me I am uniquely unqualified to comment in such a "controversial" topic.

All this power of censorship has gone to ...

Just reading this:
Church of England to apologise for role in historical forced adoption
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2e4eqqq7lo

So, the CoE is to apologies for what it now recognises as the abhorrent practices of forced adoptions.

The vicar at the time would no doubt have said he ...

"What happened" is the most important part. Had it been a simple case of fisticuffs, probably a slap on the wrist, ASBO (CBO or PSPO these days) and small fine.

The "criminal damage" bit is worrying though and suggests something tasty. If he went all loony tunes and also gave someone a right good ...

I think he's issued a 'Do not travel unless necessary' coz it is snowing. A lot.

Why is that so odd? We get the merest hint of snow over here and the whole infrastructure goes to shit.

No, it's a travel ban, issued by a mayor. He says he will decide who he thinks should be allowed to travel ...

Re: In todays light hearted look at the (non-political) news

Not sure if this is politics or high comedy but the mayor of New York has issued a travel ban because it looks like it's going to snow.

Due to reasons I dare not suggest in such a highly censored forum, I find this hilarious. The fallout will be lit. hysterical...

40 year old design and they've been having problems with hydrogen all those decades. So having problems now with helium leaks at least gives them some variety. If I recall correctly, I think even the engines are "new old stock". 30 billion dollars and it has had precisely one successful launch. I ...
