That's a shitty thing to happen, and to witness. Beers are on me next time I see you.

Currently slipping into xmas with Disaronno and coke while watching Die Hard.
Supposed to be at my family home with my brother, but the neighbours (who we visited briefly 2 days ago) have tested positive, so we've not gone over tonight and will test ourselves first thing tomorrow before deciding if we risk the visit or not. We tested negative today so we're hopeful we can still keep him company tomorrow.

At 6.40 I decided it was time to get the last minute bits for tomorrow, checked closing times.
Morrisons 6pm
Lidl 6pm
Tesco 7pm

Made It with seconds to spare, I wasn't worried at all.

Just back from our traditional Christmas Eve visit to next door.

We play board games and have a carry out and just a general good time.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Merry Christmas all. Every blessing of joy, peace and happiness. Getting ready for the Christmas Day service. Midnight Mass went very well as we had a stand in organist who came out of retirement to play for us, superb musician and he lifted the roof with his offering of praise.

One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

Blending in nicely with the locals. They'd never guess you're a Brit.
