Arsehole pro-cyclists.
They come for winter training and their arrogance and self importance knows no bounds and they piss everyone off.

Today, they excelled themselves. Saw 3 cyclists, which would have been easy for cars to pass. Oh no. Their coach was sat in a car behind them, at their speed with hazard warners on.
Blocking the road with large tailbacks. Saw them twice on our morning walk and some cars had to do dodgy overtakes to get past.
Shame the Guardia Civile didn't spot them.

You need farmers who will lead the way driving very slow, very wide tractors, towing very long trailers, carrying loads of very smelly organic soil improver.

I knew someone near Abergavenny who, if he'd been stuck behind cyclists for ages, would overtake in his diesel van and then slow down to just less than they wanted to be going. Making them slow down and breathe in the diesel fumes. Can't say I agreed with im (well, the frequency!!! ) but I could see why a person could get that pissed off with the veloists

Been invited to go with some friends to a bike show in Lyon. I was supposed to sort the ticket on Saturday but work n stuff meant that I only just did it.

Have ticket - so now to book a test ride.

Nope - none available for anything I even remotely want to ride Gutted (Was aiming for an MT10, R7 or MT09!!)

Be aware that you can't drive it on your own insurance under 'any other vehicle' cover unless the other vehicle has insurance cover.

Either cover for it as a named vehicle, or £150 or so for a transport.

No idea about fraud, I have a couple of options though. Booked some hotel accommodation a few weeks back after figuring out an itinerary amongst multiple proposed itineraries and numerous requests for different options of stops at different locations. Last night I go to check the location of tonight's stop and, oh fvckit, I've booked for the following weekend. But, oh yay, no matter there's availability for tomorrow, same price and everything. Yeah, however it turns out that the booking-broker/front-desk have figured out an "i',m a bit of a wanker" policy between themselves and can't (won't) change it. . Balls.

I'm always amazed by stuff like this, I get that this is my fault, but the solution makes no sense.

I create a spreadsheet for when I'm traveling, I started doing this when I missed a booking for one night while I was in Austria with my spawn.

Not sure how accurate that is, as I've seen the letter emailed from Aura that clearly states that the policy has been cancelled.

And suddenly I find myself stressing about it all. Why? I bloody told her not to take it. The cheapest insurance I can find, and not declaring any cancellations, is £2,100. I suspect it would have been that much come renewal anyway, but it's still bugging me.

Car, and said child (and boyfriend) are currently back at Chez Gremlin, along with the offending vehicle. After getting all medieval father and cursing said child and threatening to cast her away, Mrs. G calmed me down with a dog chew and a pat on the head and convinced me to part with a substantial amount of money to once again insure child to drive said car, but under the strict condition that it stays rooted at Chez Gremlin, like a tethered swine. Child has agreed and has also undertaken to pretend to be mute should her insurance ever need to call her again.

I even had to make her bloody Nutella pancakes this morning. What kind of mug am I?

It probably is. The quality of students isn't what it was. There probably doing degrees in nailology or chromatherapy.
