Luckily, three taps over two buttons and its off for each drive -

That would drive me spare…. In ours, one tap on the button nearest to the steering wheel and it’s off. Easily done, and done every time.
Another of those things that nobody wants and everybody gets.

I does bug me, but it's better than turning on the heated windscreen , when you have a right arm that barely reaches the control screen cos they couldn't be assed to put in an actual button

I can turn it off permanently, but then there's a symbol on the dash all the time that covers (either the outside temperature or the current mileage) - so that's not gonna happen

Wife's car needs front tyres.

Tried all the usual suspects for Contisport 5 SSR's (like fitted to the rear, it's nice to have them all match and it's xdrive so the transfer box fucks up if the sizes are too different and the rears are hardly worn).

Cheapest were ASDA tyres at £365 a pair, next cheapest was surprisingly Halfrauds at £368 with a 10% Black Friday discount... the Halfords site then prompted me join their drivers club for an additional £5 off making them the cheapest @ £363

Not only that, but the Halfords price was for fitting on the drive, all the others were to take it to a garage.

Who'd have thunk Halfrauds would have the best deal?

I could kinda use some new sunglasses and Oakley have a sale on. I normally budget max £120 for sunglasses, I wear them a LOT, it's actually unusual for me to leave the house without them 9except if I'm in the UK ! ).

They had some I liked, I also get a belt and some stickers. All for €98

I've just put replacement lenses in a pair of Oakley's, a lot cheaper than new ones and they were available in my favorite lens (prism road).

If I bought 2 sets of replacements, I could buy a set of genuine, and I found I wasn't too far away from a whole new pair on sale.

Do you mean Oakley Flaks? Oakley supply genuine replacement lenses.

Last time I looked, replacement lenses for Flaks were around £80.
The last couple pairs of Flaks I bought were around £100 !?

Prompted by a rave review by a client, I recently bought a Smart Air Boost XL radiator fan. It is basically a rechargeable set of fan motors which sit on top of a central heating radiator and when the temperature of the sensor rises above 30°C, the fans kick in drawing heated up through the radiator and blowing further into the room. It comes with charger / power supply. They shut down automatically once the radiator heat drop below 30°C.

It turned the dining room (office) from hovering around 18°C to plus 21°C in pretty short order with the smart radiator stat turning the boiler off long before the scheduled time.

I’ve moved it into the lounge and the room is lovely and toasty, so much so, the fan motors have shifted down a gear and I’ve not bothered lighting the log burner. I’m toying with getting a couple more, but probably just the standard size.

I could happily sit here for a looooooong time sipping at that! Sadly I can't cos, too much to do tomorrow!! But I think I may have to go back and gt more - it's on offer at 16,50€ (give or take a few cents!!)

I could happily sit here for a looooooong time sipping at that! Sadly I can't cos, too much to do tomorrow!! But I think I may have to go back and gt more - it's on offer at 16,50€ (give or take a few cents!!)

FREAKING. AWESOME.

It's ok in small amounts. It soon becomes very sickly if you try to have a session on it.

Same kind of principle but battery powered rather than heat powered. I’m probably going to buy a couple of the standard ones to save me lugging the big one from room to room,

Is this new? Never seen it before. I do like a bottle of Kraken. Even the Aldi rip off is quite nice.
