Apparently I'd booked it 2 weeks ago and forget.
Lucky for me the software looks out for Muppets like me

I'm the same with doctor's appointments.

....they seem to believe it's acceptable to be watching stuff on their phones at high volume despite other folk trying to have a nice dinner, and this was adults - not kids!
I was on a cross-channel ferry recently - scurried off to one of those 'quiet' areas which is made super-boring so that there's no kids in there - it's basically a room with rows of recliners so that you can have a snooze. Like a library in there - except for one fat cow watching endless retarded Tiktoks at full volume. Er - headphones?

I'm sat on ferry with my noise cancelling headphones. Oblivious to everything

That's a very real solution. Rude/oblivious/self centred people can never be fixed, but hitting the mute button can help.

Bloke at work retired in Dec.... Nice fella, we worked together a fair bit over the last 25 years.
Dropped dead... Sheesh, just a couple of months after retiring. Harsh world at times.
Friend of mine died two weeks before he was due to retire with a fat USPS pension.

Opened up my laptop this morning to find 185 emails. One sent in to all of the companies Europe division in error, the other 200 (there's 15 more since I started typing) are either people who are saying it's not an email for them and have hit 'reply all' or people replying to all saying to stop replying to all.
Just ignore it, dickheads.
(205 now)

Just found out my youngest brother has been diagnosed with bile duct cancer, he's 43, two young kids, eats healthily, little alcohol and runs marathons for fun. I really shouldn't have looked up survival rates.
FUCK CANCER.

I ordered something online, it's being shipped by UPS so UPS sent me an email. This caught my eye:

Is UPS really claiming rights over "the color brown"? I guess I'd better stop shitting.
