No idea how kosher it is, but the guy's got a story for sure.

The only Supercar I'd take instead of the cash alternative. Absolute beauty! 8-)

I'd probably get away with it here because every second car is a supercar, but in the UK it would be vandalised, gobbed on or nicked if you dared to leave it anywhere.
Maybe where you come from, but not round here. I don't live in a flash area, but I would be surprised if it happened here.

But the engine is in the wrong place!

I just had a look on ebay to see what F12's were going for, I must say I did like this one...

Yes, for a few weeks at least then sell it to a dealer. I wouldn't drive it to Tesco, but that's for fear of car door dings more than vandalism. I suppose jealous people do vandalise things they'll never have, but dont think its an issue round here. My Neighbour has a R8 and there's a Rangey a few doors up and a lot of people cut through our road to get to the council estate but I've never heard of anyone getting their cars keyed or suchlike?

There's a great thread on Pistonheads full of "spotted" supercars. I couldn't find the picture I was looking for, one guy took his 10 million quid McLaren F1 to B&Q :D

Heres an impressive bit of parallel parking in a six figure Porsche.

And hows about a double supercar council house?

Its still mid mounted! I look at supercars like Lambos and Ferarris with rear mid mounted engines but they dont do anything for me really. The Berlinetta I think is gorgeous because it doesn't look like them. Effin beast of a car though and I love to Boss that round Basildon!

BTW I think the problem with actually driving one of these 200k cars, should you win one, is much simpler. You can't afford it :D

Tyres are a grand a pop, minor services are four figures and majors are five. Home servicing might work, but parts are still ruinously expensive etc. Heaven knows what the insurance would be

There is a bloke who lives in the village where I am who is on his second Lambo and uses it as a daily car to Tesco and goes to same gym as me. He is a bit of a knob but even with that personality hasn't had any damage done to it as far as I know

I keep looking at these competitions but have yet to think "fuck it" and click on ticket purchase :)

Of course that's the issue for most people and that's why i'd sell it shortly after getting it. Insurance isn't a problem though!

The following quotes, in price order from lowest to highest, are for Taipan (policyholder) on a FERRARI F12 BERLINETTA, 6262cc Petrol, 2DR, Automatic, (F12FKU) with Comprehensive cover.
Bell from Admiral
£700.83
Compulsory £500
Voluntary £0
Total £500

Yeah if I won a supercar (or indeed mansion) then same, I'd keep it for a bit then sell.

I only do the cars, I'm old and fat and don't like getting cold or wet anymore (except when cycling weirdly enough).

I expect I'd only ever ride it once as its not my sort of bike at all. But as much as Duc sports bikes are the only SBs I like, wtf is that torturous Akra carbon snake mess? Heat shields?
