Was filmed round these parts and I kept noticing familiar looking places but not recognising exactly where they were until the garage forecourt fight scene which was filmed at Route 59 https://www.facebook.com/groups/1509671 ... cale=en_GB which is where I go for a coffee if out for a short bimble on a Saturday.

My wife was saying what a pretty little town it was and wondered where it was. I said dunno, probably the Cotswolds and then she looked it up! Its now been added to the list of places to visit in the campervan!

That area was our playground as kids. Know it all like back of my hand.
Hired a coach for my stag do and toured that area.

Series 3 of Tulsa King https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16358384/e ... t_eps_sn_3
Old school gangsta fun, OK Stallone may be getting beyond his prime but he does it well enough, looking forward to the spin off Nola King with Samuel Jackson

Series 3 of Star Trek Strange New Worlds https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12327578/e ... t_eps_sn_3
Some episodes miss the mark but it keeps the Star Trek world still ticking, decent sci-fi

Lioness https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13111078/?ref_=fn_t_1
Got slated in the reviews but it's OKish, just giving it a try as it's a Taylor Sheridan creation.

Jay Kelly. George Clooney playing an actor who gets introspective as his world sort of implodes. Touted as Clooneys finest performance. It wans't. Can't say I didn't like it, and in some ways I enjoyed it, but won't be urging anyone to watch it?

The trailer made me giggle :obscene-birdiedoublered:
The film was about a big U.S. film star going to Yorickshire to do a fun silly thing.

Which it also was in reality.

I've just watched Violent Night. If you want a Christmas film with humour and violence then this is hard to beat.

Peacemaker DC superhero show staring John Cena, continuing from the Suicide Squad movie. Good fun, lots of violence and swearing with occasional nudity.

White Lotus series 1 & 2 Rich people on holiday. Very good. Series 2 starts off slower than series 1 but ends much stronger.

Plur1bus Well made and acted but I'm finding it very slow.

Watched 3 absolute belters last 3 nights.

Catch Me If You Can.
The Accountant.

Seen them both before, but one of the benefits of getting older is that I couldn't remember a single thing about them :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Last night watched After The Sunset. Clever and brilliant 👏

Wild Mountain Thyme. Just when I think I can't love Emily Blunt more, she pops up with an Irish accent!

Not sure I'd pay for the film as such, but for Irish Emily!

Just finished Pluribus. Really enjoyed it. Kind of slow, but it builds. Alien virus, dystopian weirdness, Vince Gilligan's mind, what's not to like? 👍😎
