There's aspects of this i can't put into enough words how much it'll make our life better for example, currently we're averaging 8-10 hours driving a week to FoD and back and £40-60 in fuel and snacks/coffees etc. When we're living within 15 mins of there then that changes the whole dynamic. You add onto that this weekend we're driving there again (2 hours) then driving to Dyfi on Sat afternoon for the Sunday riding, the Dyfi trip from current home is 4 and a bit hours and goes down to 2hrs 35 from the new location, which again is HUGE for us...
The only real downside as i say is motorhome parking on any/all of the properties, but again, we don't have that where we are now anyway.
Some new housing estates have rules banning works vans and campers.
Just something to be aware of.
We've not looked at any and i doubt we will now.

Another, that we went with, suggested best offers, with a guide of £350,000. We sold for £375,000.
Funnily though, it's the same agent who valued both houses.
Machiavellian theory....estate agent thinks the people selling the second house are time wasters/unrealistic in their expectations so they've made yours look like a bargain by inflating a similar one.

IMO it deffo helps rather than hurts our cause

Where is that middle one? It looks nice.
A friend of ours provides MoHo and caravan storage in the Bream area, I can put you in touch if you get to the point where you need it

Not just new ones. I was looking at houses last year and some of the hidden vehicle restrictions were deal breakers, I found myself looking up estate chat groups and forums to see what people that live there are complaining about. I wouldn't consider many of the houses on this thread, if they are packed in that tightly and close to the road then there will be parking problems.
I'd rather get something a little older like the bungalow looking one with a bit more breathing room around it.

This one was one of my favoured locations, Berry Hill. It's convenient for pretty much everything. However, it's funny how viewing places in the context of living there is different than just driving past and thinking "yeah i'd live there", you look a bit more in-depth at things and this area just feels wrong to me. It was like that Jim Carey movie where he's in a weird world that's not real. Everything just felt artificial and wrong. It had nothing that jumped out at me.
I can imagine coming back from having a beer and getting lost finding your own house.
Weirdly, the one in Coleford at the entry to a similar sort of setup didn't feel like that, it felt part of the area... Whereas Berry hill felt like it's been plonked there overnight
I bought a new build back in the early 80s. Came home pissed up and took the first right off teh main road instead of the second right and spent ages trying to get into the wrong house!
Driveways on a hill should be called ramps as they are a PITA. Awkward to jack a car up should you need to. Things roll away. Dangerous when icy etc blah...

That's the one I like the most.Got a lot going for it. As I said on whatsapp, doors either end of the passage, some bike hooks boom - lot bigger garage space.
Easy commute of James, to work, bit harder home. Meh, he needs the exercise.

Well, if you mean you're using a tow-rope on the Eeb for me then maybe
In truth it's not the worst hill ever.... but it's not the smallest by any means that's for sure
