I was talking out of my arse, old bikes are fun and a different experience to modern bikes, can I have my bike but have it look exactly like a Yoshimura GS1000 from 1980?

Dunno if I'll take the GSX on track, there's something good about ringing the neck out of an old bike, I'd be a fuck site quicker on the GSX, probably well into Inters pace, certainly on a modern GSXR750 I could be.

Yes you can, tbh I've currently got a grin like a Cheshire Cat, the best motorcycle ride I've had in years, should've bought one a couple of years ago.

I thought the same when I bought my 675R,the Street Triple's superior at most things but there's something about those old FZ750's.I'll never sell mine..

They're surprisingly good for a 1985 design, the GSX is better at everything, but it's not a massive difference.

Anyway I'm waiting for the roads to dry so I can go out on it this afternoon, picked up the handbook this morning, found out the traction control cuts power if the front wheel lifts, which means I'm not as crap at wheelies as I thought.

Not tried it in wet yet. But it's too intrusive in the dry. Even cuts in on straights when accelerating.
