Its so you can get equal length headers and still fit the cat in. You need heat shields like you say.
IME 916 shape bikes
properly cook the inside of your right thigh when you're sat stationary, if anything this looks like an improvement

Had a punt on the Lambo on Elite's site but only cos its better odds for £150k than a scratchcard! I don't want the car.

I don't really do these sort of things but had to have a look as it said "Supermoto" - not entered the 790 draw but did for the Transit on there, that would make a nice replacement for the BYV
