Just sold the piece of crap Sony that came out of there and got £35 back towards the ridiculously cheap price of the double din unit!

First one showed up (about 1in thick). These cover all models, world wide.

Caramalised red onion and goats cheese tart from my friend's shop then a Myrtille* Eclair from the bakery in the valley. Didn't take any photos as I was was very hungry when I got home. But they was blooming lush they was

Cant remember if i asked. Can you install your own sat nav software/apk into them things? I like the idea of them but would hate to be stuck with google maps or waze.

@Taipan Did you get a cradle with your head unit to set it into the dash? I just got a unit, remote, plugs and a rubbish user manual.

No, I had to cut the dash and get a fitting cage as I went from a single to a double din size. Fitting kit was about £25 from eBay IIRC?

Proper dark visor for my new lid.

I like to ride with the visor open a bit, which puts the groove the pin lock sits in right in my eye line.

When I was looking for a dark visor I spotted that there are two versions.

One that takes a pinlock and one that doesn't, but had tear off posts.

So I bought the tear off version. The only gripe is that it came covered with film which was fitted before the tear off posts. So to remove it all cleanly I had to take a screwdriver to it to remove the posts and refit.

I was tempted by the £20 Chinese copies on t'bay, but decided to treat myself to the proper Arai one at £55 from Helmet City.

I also spotted that Bob Heath make a replica visor for £30, but the brow vents look a bit odd.

There was a time they couldn't give it away. but then the world woke up to it. I went out recently and was informed by the sommelier that the cheapest bottle they sold was £80.

I thought that lot was pretty good for £190. My mate chipped in with three 6 litre kegs: Golden Goose, Camden Hells and Stella Unfiltered.

Not tried it yet. Got the Golden Goose in there, but it needed chilling which can take 12 hours. Handy to know, as if there's a few thirsty lads coming around, stick the next keg in the fridge in readiness.

I've had one since before lockdown. It not been used for the last year, they stopped doing special discounts and the prices went up massively, so we went back to tins from the supermarket.

They also regularly seem to have stock issues and the delivery partner they used to use was a joke.

On the plus side, it does taste better than tins.

Perfect Draft (InBev) don't work with Phillips anymore and source/manufacture the machines themselves, the new one is the Pro, hence the Phillips machines are much more affordable than they used to be as they selling off the old stock.

Just out from the notary, the 12000 square metres of prime Spanish scrub land that adjoins my existing plot is now mine. The only reason I bought it is that it has planning permission and I don't want neighbours. I'll take some pics when I get home.
