Sorting a clutch/dmf out on a 5008 pug.
I can see why he was quoted £2000+ from the garage.
It would have been easier to drop everything off the chassis in one piece, split it, sort it and re-install.
I hope the trans was clean/dry when it went back in... :?:
It was......until I went to bleed up the slave cylinder!
Too tired to take it back out this weekend. Who thought concentric slaves were a good idea!

Shopped for cooking ingredients, watched Wales Women get cooked by Scotland ladies, cooked dinner, ate the cooked dinner, took the dog for a walk/run in the dark & updated my Plex server.

It's a week since I had my 3rd heart attack, & had stent-age.

Had a huge breakfast and need a lay down before checking out which isn't until 12pm :D Don't you love those nice hotels where they have a buffet breakfast and try to cater for all nationalities? I did a pretty good job of eating for every nationality 💪

So far in the laying the flooring project I have:

Removed carpet, underlay and gripper rod
Taken it all to the tip
Stripped wall paper
Built a stud wall, hacked out some rough plaster
Plastered the wall
Removed skirting boards
Repaired some bodged work behind skirting boards

 denotes jobs I hadn't planned on having to do but the offending wall wasn't flat or square to the room so needed addressing, more so after removing the wallpaper

What I haven't done:

Screwed down the loose floorboards
Denailed and cleaned floorboards
Laid any underlay or flooring

Heyho, there is always tomorrow for that...

Just been outside in the dark with a flashlight & a blowtorch to commit mass insecticide on a couple of dozen or so Black Widows. 5 or 6 big fuckers (the females) & the rest were males or juveniles.
Tomorrow I will destroy the webs then leave it a few days to see if any get rebuilt, er.. respun.

Went for a 2 hour walk around town, popped in to the chemist to pick up more drugs, had a sneaky bacon cob negating the walk.
Spent a couple of hour in the garage fitting new rear indicators to the wife's bike.

It's slow going as I'm having to remove staples, tacks and all sorts from the original flooring as well as the odd repair and screwing down of loose boards.

Tomorrow should see me scribing around the hearth and heading into the alcoves.

Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll be scribing in the skirting boards once they've been sanded and painted.

Been in about 13 years. Replacing all the top and the pond liner, fish currently in tubs in the garage. Got most of the base repairs done today. Got the pond framework to rebuild tomorrow and then start the decking. Hopefully should all be done by Sunday.

One night stand night shift last night so a bit of kip today and then a few jobs around the house, 5 mile dog walk around the Downs and then got home, fed dogs and Mrs M brought home fish n chips which is sadly not settling very well so could be an explosive morning on the bog tomorrow. To be updated on the Friday thread.......

Yesterday akshirley but took some illegals out of a truck. First time in about 2 years I’ve seen them in a lorry, wondering if the level of interest in the boats means they are going back to the old methods of getting into the UK?

Counting down the days until this bar steward of a stent is removed. Tired of pissing shiraz and the constant pain and irritation. Managed one short bike ride and paid a heavy price for it. Garmin is telling me that my fitness is going down rapidly. Four weeks is enough already :angry-cussingblack: Roll on the 5th.

It's a pissy day,so I began a job I've been putting off for...er..years.

Sorting through a cupboard full of 100s of CDs and other assorted rubbish. Two large carrier bags of unwanted stuff so far.

Today ... not an awful lot, other than remux some video files ... pick up some pain meds, pick up cooking ingredients ... update my Raspberry Pi/NAS/Plex server ...

THIS PAST WEEK however, I got back into the world of work with my new job (after a year out).
