Mobile Phone Insurance as part of bank add on with services as carried out by Life Style Services Ltd. Daughter's IPhone stolen last weekend. They put case on hold for investigation, code speak for fraud department. So a 16 year old would allow her phone to be stolen? Which she has had for 3 months and loved... Bastards are stalling as much as possible and have been incredibly rude on the phone. The police are investigating the case and have been brilliant in how they have been talking to her and ensuring she is okay. I've fired off an email to the complaints section of my building society as this service is not in line with their standards. Have to remember to bless those you you would rather stick a hot chilli pepper up their nether regions. A week on I'm still waiting for the phone call back....

Just found some old paperwork for 2 finance deals me and the wife took out 20 years ago.
I'm pissed off I've missed the time limit for PPI.

But more pissed off how much we were charged. The missus was poorly and we needed some dosh and didn't look at the small print. Fuckers.

One of my daughters lost/had stolen her 10 day old iPhone X (or whatever) a couple of years ago and given she’s a bloody conspiracy theorist, she’d turned off ‘find my iPhone’ which our household insurer took great exception to and we had the third degree in terms of where, why, how, when, what etc followed by someone else three days asking exactly the same questions, which we reckon was their fraud dept trying to catch us out. They settled eventually...

but we can only accept a PPI claim if the advice was received on or after 14 January 2005.

Next delivery service, done by DHL.
Got a new settee on the Next clearance site. Free delivery, date arranged between 4 and 6 pm. They finally arrive at 7.10, no apology. Get the sofa off the truck, make a vague attempt to get it through the front door, then tell me I have 2 choices, either get a mate to help or send it back!!!! Wonderful service.
I suggested the back patio door, one of the twats does a thing with his hands and clearly tells me the back door is narrower. I suggest taking the cardboard packaging off, numpty one clearly tells me they can’t to that.
They then clear off as I was losing my rag at the lack of any effort on their part.
I move it down the side of the house, unwrap it and my mate next door sees me and comes round to help. In 20 seconds we have it in the living room!!
Fit the feet, put it in place, quite happy.
Girlfriend emails Next to complain.
Following day a phone call apologising that we were left in the rain, me aged 61, her with a cracked rib, by the delivery twats with an expectation that we would now sort it out.
Many apologies, then a refund of £125, quite happy as I only paid £375 for the sofa.
Not impressed with the delivery service nut very pleased with Next’s response and customer service.

I am being investigated by their "fraud" department now, apparently sending them a pdf of the invoice with IMEI number and then supplying email that has a link to the document directly from the company I bought phone from is an issue.... They are trying everything to not pay out. Getting me a little BYP now. I'm off to the ombudsman now.

Does not quite work like that. I did actually let them know that I am a minister in the church and told them to email me as my phone has to be turned off in certain meetings. I don't stress about material possesions, but I do not like being accused of crimes I've not committed nor do I like companies that do not deliver the expected service.

I've just opened an urgent message from my bank. I saw the urgent message when I logged in to my account. They have my landline number, they have my mobile number and they have my email address but they didn't think it urgent enough to send me a text or an email or call me to tell me about it. It's now too late to take any action today, it'll have to wait until tomorrow.

And this is Nationwide, they're not even proper merchant bankers.

oooh bugger! You could not make it up. Phone I bought to replace my daughters nicked Iphone has gone missing in Royal Mail's Special Delivery tracked deliver in 24 hours service! So another Iphone in the wind... One very upset daughter and I have to wait two working weeks for this to be "investigate" and then I might get my money back!
