Some time ago the missus had a bad/painful back problem (it's all the fitness stuff she does) and bought a litter picker as picking stuff up off the floor was a no-no. It's one of those 'squeeze the trigger and the pincers on the end close' things.
It's brilliant!....
....for nurdling loft insulation into the nooks and crannies of the loft where you can't squeeze yourself into.![]()
I was using one for a couple of weeks after the hip op to fasten my sandals. Not supposed to bend the hip less than 90° so putting shoes on was a no no (or use a carer!) but I could get sandals on myself. I've been wearing socks with them as it's chilly which is of course a fashion faux pas but I don't care.
