Life without a phone must be alien to kids. Was at a campsite last year what when i arrived i paid for electricity. Got allocated pitch number ??? whatever and when i turned up the van in the next pitch was plugged into my power point. They paid for a pitch without power but before pulling the plug i went to chap the door to tell them but no one was home so pulled it anyway. Later two older women came back with two young kids and got into the van. Kids came our and started to play with a football then bats and balls. In the evening one of the women came over to tell me i was out of order as the grandkids wanted power to charge the phones and tablets. WTF. They looked like they were enjoying being out playing. If gran was not so tight and paid for power this would be a non issue. I probably would have survived without power but sod them. i was not going to share as you gran was an arse.

TBF, all three are being very chilled about it. I’ve found out the tourist office rent those little wifi blobs so I’ll get that tomorrow and then they only need to use their mobiles to keep in touch whilst skiing - and we use WhatsApp for that.

I’d rather they all had mobiles whilst out and about here, but actually all three are pretty good when we’re in a group

Wait till they hit the bar. Puke up your Merc bus and try and write there names while pissing in the snow. That reminds me of a neighbour who went to Italy with the wife and three sons. Eldest was almost 18 so he took him for a few beers. On the walk back to the camp site they wanted to pee. His son started to piss up the wall quite high and Dad was pissed off and he never had the same pressure being an old git
