I use these £24. They do everything I need and the battery lasts a couple of days.
The only issue with the more recent ones is they automatically turn off after they've been disconnected for 10 minutes or so, so I have to remember to turn them back on after a lunch stop.

That is a really neat solution.
Does it have a USB C charging point? Is the Mic on a more ridged cable that mounts into the chin on a full face helmet?
It's got a usb c charging port, on/off and volume buttons in the microphone part. I think it comes with a sticky pad for the microphone but I just bend it to where I need it. I don't use my phone when I am on the bike. Nor do I want or use an intercom. I just want to hear my satnav.
I picked up a set of these as a try before you buy... They dont power off after a period of non use. I left them connected all night, and they stayed on, but there was very little battery drain. One thing I have noticed is there are no leds to show charging / full. And the volume buttons don't work although they do other things if you press and hold.
It may be a faulty pair or an integration issue with the pixel 7a..

My volume buttons work - short press, makes a tone when they are at their loudest. The led charging light can be hidden behind the mic foam - I think it only gives red when charging and then nothing when it's finished. When I take my satnav off the bike it turns off and then the headset turns off after a while. So they will only turn off when not connected to anything.
