Wouldn't have helped on the knee side of things

I did consider one more than a couple of times.

Ease up on the pedally bikes and the knee might improve. :P

The pedal one actually helps. It's the consistent bend and pressure that's the issue I think.

Yeah, good muscle and strong tendons are a positive thing for a dodgy joint, give it some support. I'm convinced all the walking I do have stopped my knees being borked.

I was being facetious as usual. :D

Be interested to see how this goes. A friend of mine has just sold his GS and bought one of these as his London commute bike and he's loving it.

Signed on the dotted line today, all paperwork completed. Sadly due to workshop time i've got to wait till next Weds.

I also got to see it in person which i'd not done until now :D

Awesome service from @PremierBikes

I’ve had issues with my knees over the years and the best bike that I’ve owned so far which gave me plenty room etc and the knee was relatively fine was a 1299s…………just saying πŸ‘€πŸ˜‚

Yeah either way, i don't do sportsbikes and especially 180+bhp ones. I'm happy and excited about the new bike... Can't wait to see if i can actually do justice to it and ride the bugger properly.

I did nearly have a radical decision yesterday though and debated a 2022 690SMC-R. I didn't think the difference in price was that much, even factoring in a first service cost, but the dealer said "well, we're not really sure when we'll get it, could be a month, could be 6 months".... So i stuck with my decision on the earlier one.

Need to think about any extras/upgrades now .... Bash plate a possibility.... Exhaust another... I talked Darren into fitting some paddock stand bobbins... But that's about all the thing needs.

Don't be daft, the thread is only two pages! We have to do the extras first, get it up to 20+ pages, then it'll be goned.

Fair to say I prefer the looks of the Duke. That's a hell of an exhaust can on there and presumably, if you replaced it, the bodywork is then going to look oversized?
