I'd use a multitool, but then I'm not on building site and I've got ear defenders. Plus my multitool doesn't have to be run at full chat. And I don't have a jigsaw.

A decent blade in the jigsaw, would be my guess.

Decent blade in the jigsaw and knock the orbital action setting to zero.
Its a slower cut but neater.

The faceplate on most sockets covers a few mm outside the hole anyway.

Mover over puny multitool and let the chainsaw have a go.

A 100mm 18V pruning saw is perfect for cutting holes in a wood cladding. Easily controllable for depth and no fumes either. Apart from the delicate smell of cut cedar wood.

Funnily enough, re cutting squares/rectangles, this just popped up on IG. Can't decide if it's genius or silly.

You can't do that with the windows, obvs.

That would be my suggestion, just a drill a hole for the cable and mount new sockets and back boxes.

Router with bearing guided bit, drill a hole and run it around the inside of the back boxes. Cut out screw lug sections with Stanley knife. Can do the same around windows and doors. That or simply surface mount switches and sockets and cut boards before fitting around windows and doors.

I know it's not OSB but you have to think outside the box!

Which is why the back boxes for french power sockets are circular. Just use a core drill or hole cutter (depending on substrate) of the right size and you're good to go.

Modern fast fix lighting back boxen can be circular.

What happens with a Fronch double socket then? Massive circular hole? Or do they just not have 'em?

Two circular holes, maybe opened out to a stadium shape.

It's as cheb says, kinda like an oblong with rounded edges. Alternatively two circular holes side by side. You can buy single or double back boxes, as in UK.

In fact you can buy triples, as well...
