This is my everyday hammer unless I'm framing or shuttering.
Might seem kind of odd but they're quite a personal thing, you get to like em after a while and no other versions seem right, that goes for the lads Martinez, my old 20 Oz straight clawed leather stacked Estwing, another blokes 24 Oz English pattern Estwing or another mates titanium head Stiletto.
We all kind of think our version is somehow just better than everyone else's.

So todays job was some roof repairs, got talking to one of the roofers who had just got himself something nice.
Does it work better as a roofers hammer? I don't know but it was nice in the hand.
We all appreciate having something "special".
Some people spend what seems to me a fortune on a posh pen, got to say they do fuckall for me, fancy fish in a pond? Nope.
Cars? They do nowt for me.
This bloke uses tools all day, so to him having something he really likes matters to him, makes those days when he's working in the shitty weather just that little bit better.
Think it was the best part of £300, as I have mebbe a couple of grands worth of handplanes I'll not judge too much.
