Not sure if correct in my logic but my Camperbus is plated at 4.2 Tonne and psi was 45-50 depending on load. I put on 2" larger wheels from an Iveco Daily so tend to run them at 55psi. Probably should look at tyre pressures for the Daily of an equivalent weight.

215/60/17 standard VW fitment. I had some 70 profile tyres on the Crafter which were at 70psi.
My Mazda has 225/45R19, the slightly lower spec model has 225/55R17, the manual says they both need 33psi.
Your car isn't a van. I only made the original comment on reply to someone who was surprised at higher tye pressures. From memory I think my Caddy ran the fronts at 40psi. My Duster has the same size tyres as the T6 and runs 33psi.
You responded to Rockburner's comment about his belief that low profile tyres need higher pressures. I was adding my two pennorth to that discussion. (And my car is an estate car - like a van, but better. :P)

Here's one that I've just found:

What is the largest number you can think of? You might think it is ...999999 all the way to infinity, but is it? What happens if you add 1 to this largest number?...99999 becomes ...99990 +10, which becomes ...99900 + 100, which becomes ...99000 + 1000 etc. The nines all flip to zeros all the way out to infinity. So the largest number you can think of plus one is zero, which means the largest number you can think of is -1.

How weird is that?

If you say "I'm just gonna keep saying it's 9......9 + 1........0 etc." you've always got that "1......0" on the end.

"The nines all flip to zeros all the way out to infinity". But you also stick a 1 on the front.

But if the nines go all the way to infinity, the one is beyond infinity. Who are you? Buzz Lightyear?

If they go all the way out to infinity you can still stick a 1 on the front. Strange, but true. Infinity + 1 is allowed.

Tis a good way to ponder the weird nature of infinities (there's more than one kind too) but not great proof -1 is the biggest number there is. :D

Infinity +1 is allowed, but it is equal to infinity.

So infinity +1 = infinity
Therefore 1 = 0

Strange stuff that infinity

Kid Creole and the Coconuts famously feature a backing vocal hook in their 1982 hit "Annie, I'm Not Your Daddy" that sounds like "Ona-ona-onomatopoeia".

The official lyrics are: "I don't, I don't, I don't want to be your..."

I love this line from that song:
"You see, if I was in your blood then you wouldn't be so ugly" :D

This is a question that's been bugging me on and off for about 66 years.
Let me set the scene: I am about 10 or 11 years old and at school I'm in the class that is expected to do well in the 11 plus exam. The head teacher "demotes" me to the thickie class, the class that isn't expected to do well in the 11 plus exam. (It's a trumped up charge but I think it's really because she's had a falling out with my step mother.)

Anyway, one of the exercises the thickies do is about opposites and it goes something like this:
Teacher: "Up"
Class (and me): "Down"
Teacher: "Left"
Class (and me): "Right"
Teacher: "Forward"
Class (and me): "Backward"
Teacher: "Fast"
Class (and me): "Slow"
Teacher: "Dog"
Me: Thinks "WTF"

The questions: What would your answer be? And Is there anybody in the world apart from thick 10 year old kids and teachers who thinks the opposite of dog is
Spoiler
Cat?

"Teachers, leave them kids alone".

Your teacher was an idiot. They exist.

I had a supply teacher in junior school who humiliated me in front of the class for using the word "oblong". They said that the word didn't exist and was the baby word for rectangle, like the word "bunny" or "horsey". Regardless if that's true or not, and I don't think it is, I remember it - 'cos it hurt.

I'd have said 'cheese'.

If the teacher had said 'cheese isn't the opposite of dog' I'd have responded 'ok smartarse, what's the opposite of cheese?'

You wouldn't. At 10 years old you would have said "cat" or (like Saga) said nothing and wondered WTF.

Like Saga, I met teachers in my yoof who should not have been allowed within 10 yards of kids
