I've got some bamboo chuddies (from Bam) but I've gone back to cotton. The bamboo ones feel more synthetic (being viscose - semi-synthetic - that's not surprising*). Cotton was definitely much better in the hot weather.

Gradually going back to wool, linen or cotton for most day-to-day clothing things.

* but they've also got whatever it is they put in the fabric to make it stretchy which doesn't help either.

Bamboo merchants love to big up it's green creds, but it's actually a bit of a disaster alot of the time. The plant itself is pretty sustainable to grow (Panda infestations notwithstanding) but the processes to turn it into fibres can be quite nasty. Only certain types are actually more environmentally friendly than cotton.

Here in England you'd probably not be surprised to know that Wool and Linen are the yoghurt weaver's choice. Mostly cause they're so easy to produce here.

Flax (suitable for linen yarn) isn't grown commercially in the UK. The stuff they grow for seed and oil has too short a staple for yarn. There are projects afoot to rectify that and start growing crops for fibre again. Most of it currently comes from Eire and France iirc.

There was a hellalot of green washing with folk selling bamboo food contact materials (plates, cups n shiz) a couple or 3 years ago.
Regular plain bamboo is fine, but most Chinese manufacturers were using bamboo flour as an additive in plastic and or melamine and claiming super eco credentials.

Small problem, one it isn't that eco, 2 it was all illegal, what with bamboo not a listed permitted additive in (EU)10/2011, and C it can give off a metric fuck tonne of formaldehyde, which isn't that healthy.

Bought a nice Triumph Leather jacket. First time I've spent on something like this and it is very nice. It did get is second/third/fourth hand via Vinted, but it is really in excellent condition. Soft leather, comfortable, with good armour and back protector. Capacious pockets and a very nice lining in it as well. Not bad for £120. Most I've ever spent on a jacket!!!
