Home, finished 3 nights, packed my bag ready to go to hers when I wake up at 1000. Taking the bike as there’s better weather, so they say. In bed with a cuppa, checking the news etc before sleeping.
Have a great day all,
Mick

Just chilling in late afternoon warmth after watching sun dipping behind the big house opposite.

Took this photo of dog on path and cat on rock. Came out great :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Those sausages are just plain nasty, every "English" breakfast has them and they're horrible. Perhaps they're easy to import because they're meat free, just breadcrumbs and lard. Just get some decent local salchichas and pop a morcilla on there in place of black pudding. Spanish bacon cuts are nicer than the english stuff too. Propose this to your local cafe as the "full spanglish breakfast".

And while we’re at it- get rid of the beans. That’s an abomination at breakfast. Beans are a snack, on toast. And toast, laid flat on the plate? >> soggy and horrible. Needs to be crisp. And waffle - American nonsense. Proper bacon, black pudding needed, and twice the sausage but decent ones as said ^^, not those sawdust ones.

What a lousy breakfast, Yoz. Hope it’s cheaper than the beer.

The sausages are actually very nice. Some places do sell the nasty ones you mention.

The toast was dry. They know I don't want it buttered. And it's hash brown, not waffle ;)

And I have the beans on the toast, last :)

Just paid for my new kitchen... That I'm going to attempt to fit myself, what could possibly go wrong?

A relatively mild and dry 11°C here. I might take the bike for a run shortly.

It's already the shortest month and you've shaved almost a week off! :D

Do 'dry Monday' instead and start later today?

If it's like mine then it's the unexpected horrors that are revealed when you pull the old stuff out.

Wife is just off the phone for about the 10th time today. Step daughter in in Edinburgh Infirmary trying to drop a calf. She has been in for just over 48 hours now with many a promise you are next then put on ice as there has been an emergency. This time she (Stepdaughter) is some high number dilated and what do they do. Put her on ice again as its the end of the nurses shift. Rank up the pain killers and away to do a handover so the wife nipped out for a fag and phoned me. Apparently the baby will be out before Midnight what the step daughter was not wanting as according to the Chinese Calendar The kid would have been a Dragon. Poor thing is now stuck with being a Rabbit.

Not a great fan of kids but its looking like i am about to be a step Grandad. Apparently i am going to be known as Grumps  Oh how i hate this bloody Family

Oh aye. As the drop zone is nearing apparently Al (her husband) is getting whiter and whiter. We think he will faint. The wife has the camera ready for if he does as he wont be allowed to forget it. Moonpig birthday cards

You're probably better off with a rabbit (just). :D

Me and the missus are dragons (and, they say, 2 dragons together is bad news :o ).

The fourth Trine consists of the Rabbit, Goat, and Pig. These three signs are said to have a calm nature and somewhat reasonable approach; they seek aesthetic beauty and are artistic, well-mannered and compassionate, yet detached and resigned to their condition. The three are said to be caring, self-sacrificing, obliging, sensible, creative, empathetic, tactful, and prudent, but can also be naive, pedantic, insecure, selfish, indecisive, and pessimistic.

The first Trine consists of the Rat, Dragon, and Monkey. These three signs are said to be intense and powerful individuals capable of great good, who make great leaders but are rather unpredictable. The three are said to be intelligent, magnanimous, charismatic, charming, authoritative, confident, eloquent, and artistic, but can also be manipulative, jealous, selfish, aggressive, vindictive, and deceitful.
