Reckon that would be good for cleaning dirty bike, getting the karcher out is too much hassle for bike. Q...How long would it take to suck up a bucket of water ? We've got 3 water butts full and this time of year the garden don't want it.
I could fill 2 or 3 buckets up and just lob that filter end into each bucket. Is it a worthy idea. ??

I recon two buckets to do the bike, less if you are talking peddle bike more if you us shampoo. I dont have an outside tap as i live in an upper house. I could ran a hose down the stairs but thats a bigger faff than setting up the Karcher. This was cheap as chips and will probably burn itself out at £19 but it needs Makita batteries unless you order one with the batteries and charger.

I blagged one many years back, and through many office refurbs, I have clung onto it through thick and thin, much to the annoyance of the facilities guys, who have now simply given up. Proper nice chairs.

I have a work-supplied uppy-downy desk at home as well, along with standard issue office chair. I did think about requesting a Herman Miller for home, but thought the better of it.

Long term thoughts on the Herman Chair, I'm thinking I might go and have a sit on one at the weekend before picking one up for my home office? @Trinity765

I found one on either FB marketplace or eBay, less than 50 quid iirc, a few years ago.. I replaced the back with an 80 quid new old stock from eBay last year.

They're fugging expensive new, but if you look carefully you'll find a deal.

Don’t! I had a Herman Miller chair - bought 2nd hand from ebay for about 275 quid. Company paid because they had loads of the cheaper versions in the HQ in Germany. They advertised them as all day comfort - and as I working with the USA / Japan/ Singapore , I could easily start at 06.00 and finish after 20.00.
One of my German colleagues said “I don’t know what the fuss is , they are so fucking uncomfortable “. Mine was a step up from his and unbearable- the mesh seat gave no real support - it was like being on the sea all the time !
I replaced it with an IKEA office chair that cost 120 quid and so much better. I gave my Aeron to my step son - who hates it !!
They are also very shoddily made - the back supports split after a few months, the fabric snags easily, on mine it would drop in height over a few days, and the seat adjustments were lame

These new shoes have some fancy bit that makes them visible to radar, so I'll never get lost in the local woods whilst walking the hound.

ACtually I was going to get a bloke round to check the rear brake linings and adjust the handbrake on my campervan as my 2 tonne jack wont lift it. But the mechanic charges £60 an hour or part thereof. So as he was most likely going to go into the 2nd hour, that, according to my man math, mad the jack free if I then do the brakes myself!

Pah! I'm still strong as an Ox and continue to show up the young folk with my surprising strnegth. Just not at the moment as all meds are off and my BP would raise until soemthing blew! So I've got my son coming round ot put it in the shed for me!

Nor had I until mine lost all of it, buggered if I know where it went as there were no oil spots on the floor where it lives.

Yours Jack is fucked. Mine will lift my 4.2T plated camper bus back end off the floor no problem. Front end i need to just do a corner and put it on an axle stand then move to other side.

It most certainly is fucked. It will lift the van but last time it let go when i was trying to put a axle stand under it. Fortunately I always put the wheel under the xmember/sill, so it didnt drop to the floor! I may rebuild it wioth no seals etc but would also rather have one appropriate for the vehicle weight,

I presume you have a garage to roll it out from. This was my mistake as i only have a shed round the back of the house and humphing that around was a chore so it ended up living in the back of the van. My mate is a kerbside mechanic and wanted a low profile one what was handy so the swap was done

Did you just get this? I went for the S23 Ultra as at the time there was not a lot in it in price but... Check the camera as some have the Super slow mo video recording. I seen it used with a guy i know taking a golf T off shot and the detail was very impressive indeed. Might come in handy with your Hobby/Sport.
