Oh yes... this is actually bloody brilliant as far as tools go.

I used it to straighten my hanger the other day, i've had a new one arrive now, but that'll be the emergency spare.

My LBS guy was worried it was too wonky and may snap, but i got it within tolerance

Universal rear derailleur hanger after I stripped the thread on my one (wrong way thread and I hadn't put my glasses on). Went down to LBS with it, expecting it to be an Evil special part and a 3 month wait to be given one off the shelf and charged £16. Phew. Also dropped back wheel off for a new spoke after one went ping today, I wonder if the cold weather riding I've been doing "helped".

A Magic Mary for the front of the T-130 (have been struggling to decide between that and the DHF/DHR that are on offer at Ribble, but figured the Mary would go well with the hans dampf on the rear)

A Sram MMX bar clamp to go with the Guide R brakes that arrived yesterday.

Both should arrive before christmas apparently...

I got a couple more quadlock mounts this week so I have one on each bike and two for the cars.

Also decided to treat the turbo bike to new derailleurs and cables- mainly because I nearly convinced myself to buy a Stages smart bike and this is a cheaper way to refresh my Turbo experience

I have just bought 2x 170 cranks sets - as I absolutely hate the 165s!
They have just arrived.
But only one was in the box!

What are you doing with the 165's?

If they are Shimano compatible I would be interested, if Bosch then my mate could be....

The are Shimano SLX 7120 - 165 cranks . Direct mount chain rings - been ridden about 600 miles and fairly unmarked
The other set have been ridden about 150 miles and are unmarked -
How many are up for grabs will depend on whether pro-bike kit honour the order

It's important to get rid of all that excess weight on a eeb

Doing some maintenance on the zwift bike as I need to get back to using it (lots), checked chain and stretched, not sure how thats happened

That and I need to resurrect the Fish thats languishing in Weeksys storage unit, So off to chain reaction and a bit later

Some isopropyl alcohol, having issues with the rear brake not working at all, bled them, lightly sanded them but I have the fear that I've contaminated the disk or pads somehow and youtube says burning it off might help...what could possibly go wrong?

Installed the 12 speed Di2 groupset on the race bike the other night. It came with new brakes and I had a new set of Prime wheels waiting to go on and got the GP5k 25mm’s setup on there tubeless. So only the frame, pedals and stem/bar were left untouched.

I took it out for a spin yesterday and I can see what all the fuss is about- it is an incredible piece of engineering.

My favourite part is the Garmin integration. Being able to see what gear you are in, monitor the di2 battery and control your Garmin functions from the shifters is pretty ace.

I tried out the full syncro-shift option where you basically can click from one end of your useable gear range to the other and it will auto shift the front chainrings. When you get to a cog of your choosing on the back (about 7/8 I think), to keep the optimal chain line- you then program it to shift up to the big ring and drop the cassette back a couple to keep the ratio similar. Then you carry on up to 52-11. On the way back, the reverse occurs. At about gear 3, I set it to drop down to the little chainring and 6 on the back. Then carry on to 36-30.

It was very very impressive in use. And you can override it to a certain extent by just shifting the front chainring manually.

Also, things like just holding your finger on the button continually as you come to a halt so you start in bottom gear is very very well executed. It’s all super intuitive.

Will it make me faster? 100% not. But the only thing I didn’t like about the old race bike was how fickle the shifting was. This has solved that in a stroke and represents a pretty sweet upgrade to 12 speed. Carbon rim brakes are still shit but who needs to brake in a crit or chaingang anyway
