Having a cup of tea with the wife looking at the living room table and through into the kitchen at a mess that looks like we had a 110 people round not just 11! All the house guests (my kids) go home today and it'll seem deathly quiet here without them, but also kinda nice to get back to only looking after ourselves iiyswim.A klovely couple of manic days for sure!

When you really should have ski toured this morning but bed was too comfortable to leave! So you get the piste ski stuff on and procrastinate with coffees first!
Managed two runs and stopped for hot chit on top of a mountain I don’t usually stop on (or ski much!). Scary that the hot chocolate with cream was 6€ !! Shows how rarely I stop on the mountain!!!

Sat in a plane on the tarmac at Bilund Airport waiting for a take off time...ATC problems at Heathrow apparently.

The pilot is a chatty sort though, opened the flight deck and invited everyone to come and say hello. Had a bit of a tour with baby D.

Back when I was a kid they let you do that when you were in the air :(

It's been a bit cloudy here the last couple of days and 12% of usable battery left means no leccy in the morning. It's forecast cloudy for the next few days but dog sitting ends tomorrow, chicken sitting ends on Sunday, so it's looking like Benidorm for a couple of nights.

Sat at the airport waiting to fly to Tenerife. Going to see a rheumatologist tomorrow to try to get to the bottom of the shit I've been through for 2 months.

I was allowed to go onto the cockpit of a Freddie Laker transatlantic jet flying from Thiefrow to Miami in 1981 and take photos.

I stopped rather shamefacedly when the pilot asked me what terrorist organisation I belonged to...

Is there still a plane sat on the apron in front of the terminal with no engines, it took me a while to spot why it looked wrong?

Somewhere deep in the archives at my parents house there's a picture of me on the flight deck of a 747 en route to Florida. They still had 3 guys on the flight deck back then, which shows how long ago it was.

Can't walk far or climb stairs, so Pen booked me assistance and they used a big truck with specialist lifts to bypass the stairs :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Just looked at the snow forecast for the weekend and it looks like we'll cop for it here. So I/m considering putting Yorick and Piranha on ignore, the warm, smug gits! ;) :D
