A pair of these (Michelin Country Rock) for the BossNut- as one or two of my joints won't let me run any decent distance these days I've decided to get pedaling instead, and as most of my miles are likely to be on tarmac lanes and gravel tracks rather than out and out muddy stuff it seemed a sensible thing to put on it.

First ride out on them this afternoon, and even though it was a bit muddy here and there , so far so good and greatly preferable to the WTB Trail Boss that they've replaced for the riding I'm doing

Lol, well, pedal bikes for me are really just to try and maintain a basic level of fitness and keep the flab at bay , although I will admit I did enjoy it last time and I wouldn't rule it out again in the future if dates fit
More realistically for me, a nice local(ish) bimble out with you and @crust one day when the weather picks up a bit would be good though once I get my bike-fitness up a bit - that's assuming you ever have any time for that in between races these days of course! :D )

There's plenty of time mate yes. Especially in summer with evening rides etc. Look forward to it

Not today, but over the last week - given I seem to be a bit of a crasher, I thought some more pads were in order.

Elbow pads - https://www.stifmtb.com/collections/elb ... d-black-21

Ankle Pads - https://7idp.co.uk/collections/body/pro ... -protector

Bit more twisted oaks this sunday if it ever stops raining, so should help when I next run out of talent.

Thought I'd take a chance on some Microshift bits as CRC had some money off, so arriving this week I have an Advent-X derailleur, shifter and 10sp cassette. Along with a nice bright orange raceface chainring. All for the winter commuting bike as it's current set up seems to eat chains far too quickly.

Philistine!😂

Grips look like Ergon's, they can be very comfortable.

Today I took my back wheel in for a new spoke, that's the 3rd one I've broken on the Ebike in less than 750 miles, so the LBS are whinging at Evil as i9 who make the wheels washed their hands of the matter and said speak to the bike supplier.

I have been bought some new shoes for riding as my birthday is coming up:

Nah...they're just comfy shoes with holes in. :D

(Butch sandals are like Teva Terra-Fi...I climbed a 3000m+ peak in a pair of them, now, that's butch  ....I had socks on too and my boots tied to my rucsac. There's a story to that but I'll save it. )

Well, I'll have you know, these here sandals are very comfy and handled Llandudno prom ( blue rinse avenue) last weekend without issue and I suffer with a bit of metatarsalgia.

Plus they match my new purchase which will get tested tomorrow with a lap of Lake Vyrnwy. 🙂
