Abandon ship! Head for terra firma!
Been a wet and rainy night, just checked the forecast and the worst in due around 11.00.
Marinas are all heaving and charter companies have prohibited theor boats from moving.

All of the flotilla companies recalled their yachts, so we've had to sail back in it today, a bit damp to say the least! Bloody Med!

Wife just woke me up to say our bank account has been hacked. Over £600 taken out, or pending, by Boyle Sports who are apparently an Irish Bookies. Loads of £20 transactions to make up the amount? Tried to report it through the app but I couldn't identify which card had made the transactions as no cd number, so the useless live chat/report thing couldn't help me and i have to ring at 8 am. Just noticed its all now been refunded from BoyleSports in one amount!

Dunno if that's because the bank recovered it or Boyle Sports did refund it?

On the ferry to Fuerteventura. On way to meet an old flame who is on holiday there.
She was my first g/f after my wife died. She was going through a tough divorce.
We helped each other through tough times and we stayed great friends.
Not seen her since we left UK 10 years ago, so will be good to catch up
Met her through Visordown in 2001. Blimey.
And it's a lovely day for a ride

Finally had the good news, the F’s daughter and her partner exchanged on a flat they are buying in London. This should have been done on 6th November but for various reasons within the chain it’s been delayed. Completion tomorrow so it seems we are loading a van and heading to London with all their stuff, including their bed, on Thursday.
It’s been a long process, the F has been incredibly stressed over it. Hopefully my life can now return to what I see as normal!!

Favourite daughter and SIL were in a similar position. The on/off domino effect of house sale/buying dragged it's sorry arse for the best part of a year. They were so scundered by the end of it that the whole joy of a dream house had turned sour.
