I do a little bit of ride leading when I can. Last Sunday I took a group from Rykas to Petworth, Dunsfold and back to Rykas. I don't tend to take many pictures these days as I CBA to get my reading glasses out of my bag

So, I purchased these.
You could have put your knee out as per Henry Cole stylie!
Makes you look like you're caning it apparently

Crapus maximus! I noticed how much grit has been put down locally. Anymore and it may as well be off-roading!

I went for a walk after work yesterday and there is so much grit down that as the cars were driving passed the tyres had little eddies of road salt dust swirling up in the air, like you get in roads next to beaches with sand. Its bloody nuts.

I suspect it's the new method of dealing with potholes. The abundance of gritting salt gives us something else to moan about and it fills the potholes up! Genius.

First ride of the year , been sat in the garage since September , started first press . Didn't even have to
charge the battery, Motobatt if your interested. 5 month old fuel was as fresh as a daisy.

I spy with my little eye something beginning with 'S'.
Salt on that road.

I thought you were going to say 'Snake pass' which it is.

Today was maiden voyage for my mate's new Z900RS.There's plenty of salt on the roads but at least the mud's drying out...
He swapped a BMW GS & a Enfield single for the Kawasaki.
Here he is with our Hyabusa owning mate.
In other news I have my first splattered bug of 2022 on the headlight & when we stopped at our regular brew haunt one of the things we talked about is a trip next February to either Spain or the Canary islands for a week motorcycling in the sun.So far everyone seems enthusiastic

Haven't been well enough to ride with the lads since end October but I've been working really hard lately to build my strength.
Hippy suggested a couple of hours gentle bimble as my arms are still weak.
Was having so much fun we upped it to medium terrain and managed 4 hours.
I'm buzzing.
My level is higher than I thought

First decent ride of the year. Shame I missed the best of the sunshine on Monday and Tuesday, but it wasn't too bad. Off to sunny Lyme Regis and home via Dartmoor.

Had a ride to Oulton park to see my friend doing a track day. First time in a car on track and was quite
shocked how fast cars actually are around a circuit.

First ride out of the season, only an hour each way but everywhere worth stopping at was rammed with cyclists, ramblers, dog walkers and motorcyclists, so I came home and washed it instead of having any lunch

Good ride into the Peaks today - in from Leek, over to Bakewell for lunch & then back through Tideswell, Buxton and down to Congleton.
Great fun and lovely weather, would have been even better without all the bloody motorcycles.
