When riding the bike today, I was reminded just why I love this bike so much. Comfortable and tractable, its just effortless to pootle around country lanes on, even ones strewn with wet leaves and mud etc. Then you open it up a bit and a bit more and by fook it flies. Traction control light flickered under hard acceleration in 3rd! 
The CP3 engine is sublime and hearing it out of the exhaust is just audio porn!

Nah. I love it exactly as it is. Kinda wierd really cos originally I was going to take the graphics off, but now I really like them!? I'm proper Henry Ford when it comes to colour schemes normally?

I've used All Year Biker a few times to do a clean/acf50 coating. The last time I had it done it was £60 and the bike was proper clean, looks like it's gone up a little now. I went up to Orwells in ipswich to get it done, though I think they do come to you as well. May be worth a look...

If you just wanted your bike washed I'd come over and do it for you, but I don't know about all that ACF stuff.
Given the price difference might you be better riding it to a allyearbiker if it's not too far? Is Sudbury that far from you?

Shock will be here this week and ktech springs are £89 delivered and they'll work out what rate I need if I give then some info. Just need to work out when I can have time off to get it booked in to get it all fitted, asi've been off work for 9 weeks have a massive backlog of work to get through and I think a leave request will probably be laughed at!

Sadly the suspension upgrade will be parked for now. I've had to very reluctantly admit I can't ride the bike anymore. It's ridiculously painful to change gears. I thought after a few days my tendons would stretch back to where they were to allow this, but no, it's getting worse. Gutted.

Seriously. Park the bike for the winter and do all the recommended physio etc. If it's still painful by spring, ok. But now is wayyyyyy too soon!!

Now is the time to do the suspension upgrades so that by spring time, when your tendons have returned to normal with all the physio, your bike will also be ready and in good shape so you can really enjoy the 2023 biking season.
It's a win-win! You won't be tempted to use the bike over winter in shitty road conditions, but instead you'll concentrate on getting yourself fit. So buy the suspension kit, get it fitted and get yourself and the bike fit and ready for next year.

Oh don't worry, its not going anywhere!! I do get it, very much so. But the winter gives you a few months to work on the knee!

Offered him the water hosepipe but he didn’t want it. Brings his own special water with him. Huge great water tank is his transit! Looking better already!

My MT doesn't like dryers, revs high on start up afterwards. I just wipe with micro fibre, then start and all is good.
