Unless you want one that isn't dog slow, is there a good reason for such low power or are they trying to push people to more expensive models?
Sir would be looking for the Alpine A290.
That is much better looking than the 'Turbo' and has reasonable performance for an EV.

Wifey is in the market for a new car and I briefly looked at electric and did my calculations on range and public charging costs based on one of those. The nearest public charger is 15km away.

The big problem I have is home charging. I'm off grid, up a mountain in Spain and need to upgrade my house solar to cope with winter. Add a car into the mix and the only choice is to move my solar installation to some land I own 200 metres from the house. The cost of doing the install myself would be around €12k. I've booked her a test drive in a Lexus LBX for next week.

The 120bhp one is considerably nippier than my old petrol 5 was.

Faster than a Dacia Duster, what more do you want :D

When I looked at these Renaults they were price matched to petrol Minis of the same performance pretty well. The Renaults were all faster and cheaper than the equivalent Mini.

Blimey. You're all looking for powerful cars.
Yet generally you're all looking at old, slow bikes :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Only about 20 miles range on motorway though.I was looking at this one which has dropped from £6k to £5.5. Might be able to bag it for £5k?

Not sure what's going on with my neighbor, for about a month now all he does is roll his Tesla out of garage, wash/wax it & put it back in the garage.

I already thought the new Renault 5 was a cool French hatchback which captures the essence of the genre. Then Renault go and seal the deal with this accessory....

I've built a R5 on the webshite, that can't be an official option as there's no '5' decal on it (like every other accessory).

Loads of press cars seem to have them and someone on Reddit posted the part number.

Clearly Renault don't expect post Brexit Britain to be chic enough to need a cute little car for runs to the Boulangerie.

I expect you’ll still think it’s funny when somebody in a Tesla blocks you from getting to the pumps.

There's about 30 chargers at that location, maybe 6 were in use. It was just a photo-op. Got severe stink eye off the guy in the blue appliance to the left, blew him a kiss.

I've just seen a picture of the new Electric Nissan Micra... It's a Renault 5 with some Nissan badges and new headlights :)
