Garlic, rosemary and anchovies will see them legs done proper. Port and redcurrant gravy, too.

I can never figure out why people pass up on things like that. Stick it in the freezer and save a few bob.

Remember when the BSE thing kicked off, and supermarkets were selling beef cheap?

TV news stopped a customer with a full trolley. They asked "Aren't you worried about the health concerns?"

"No," she replied "I'm going to keep it in the freezer until the scare is over."

Penny tricked me and had to admit I liked her red cabbage and sprouts.

Bloody lovely they were. Never thought of frying sprouts :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Due to the vast amounts of Tramadol and Ibuprofen, I've been constipated 6 days.

10 minutes ago I hit the jackpot :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Gassed up the ST at Costco this morning. I was at the first pump, BIG gal at the #2 pump & a little old lady (looked to be pushing 90) at the #3 pump.

BIG gal cuts loose a fart that would have done a Clydesdale proud... About 10 seconds later little old lady emits a small squeak followed by "jesus fucking christ!"

Thank fuck I was upwind :)

The Royal Institution Christmas Lectures.

(They're on the Beeb)

Turds, farts, pints of spit, endoscopy of somebody chewing a tomato, a swallowable camera sending pics from the belly, a pig's stomach and a live goat.

It's not exactly gravitational wave theory but the target audience of children (and me) enjoyed the first one.

I don't know if other people do this but my wife likes to make phrases out of number plates to remember them. The VFR ends with 'Senile Geriatric Bike' :D

I used to have a bike (Druid's old VFR!) which ended in "RTA".

Generally, they're getting better and betterer as each successive year tries to rise above the previous year's bar.

Although personal favourite was 2018, With Profs Alice Roberts and Aoife McLysaght :)

I was gonna mention that one. I learned loads about Genetics.

It's great when they're done by actual experts (they always are of course) because they understand the subject properly, thus they can "explain like I'm 5" but still go into depth.
