I went out on the Curtis yesterday, maxed myself out on my "favourite" climb before meeting my single speed monster mate and another mate on his EBB. By 16 miles I was dead, on the climbs I was trying and failing to stay with the SS and down the trails the EBB was snapping at my heels. I limped home to finish on 18 miles but being chased by the derestricted EBB I took 5 secs off a PB I set in 2016

Been out with the pooch walking along the beach this morning - stunning conditions. Very low spring tide at 07.43 meant lots of sand. He just wanted to sniff bushes at the top of the beach!

Put the folding ebikes in the back of the civic and it's a towpath ride from Trevor to Llangollen, only about 6 miles, picnic by the canal and on to the Chain Bridge Hotel for a cold one. Lovely day had, great views and great ride, Lady Dodgy thoroughly enjoyed it. ✔

After 2 nights with one left to go and the road bike out of commission it was time to draft the Epocalypse into service.

35 miles on the E-bike yesterday and 21 on the Curtis today make for a tired Galactic Dictator but the SDW in a day is possibly looming so I need to harden up my @rse and develop some endurance.
