Casa sst 265 engine for my Lambretta (£8.5k).
Bought the scooter for £10k in January, already spent £3k on it and seriously considering this replacement engine, ffs I think I've got problems.
I'd say they're nice problems.
If you are going for the 265 engine (ah gowangowangowan you know you want to

) I hope some of the £3k went on uprating the brakes.
More
Absolutely 1/2 that money was spent on the casa performance disc brake.

I don't have to ponder the Osprey Messenger bag any longer, her in doors sent the link to the mother unit and she's bought it me for my birthday. I just have to look surprised in a couple of weeks time.

Might push the boat out and get a
full tank of unleaded at the weekend.
Well, it is Easter.

I visited a petrol station for the first time in at least 6 months a couple of weeks ago, to fill the BSA.

Meta 3 headset.
I only want it for gaming, but I'm concerned it will feel to big and bulky. I'm also concerned by how many second hand ones are advertised. If lots of people are selling them after just a few months use, does that not indicate that they aren't much good ??

I look at that and think to myself, 'What a pain in the arse. I can't be bothered'
Probably why I don't do crafting.

Maybe, or a lot of folk are discovering they're susceptible to motion sickness, I would strongly advise anyone looking at VR headsets to try before they buy.

Like Michelangelo looking at the Sistine Chapel ceiling and going 'Oof! That's going to take a lot of Dulux. What a pain in the arse. I can't be bothered'.

Paramo Velez Evolution smock/jacket thing.
Its sold as for skiers/alpine climbers and fellwalkers but its a waterproof jacket and as I walk the dog in all weathers and sometimes in the fells its something I could fire on without loads of midlayers.
Tried one of these on in a local (ish) outdoors shop and liked the fit and the way the zips work to vent it.
Not ideal for summer but good through the colder wetter months, if I buy it before long I should catch it when its cheaper. Currently its about £300 or so.

Various colours and I haven't made my mind up which yet.

I know I really really shouldn't but I'm looking at buying a 1960 Triumph Tiger Cub 199cc. My Dad passed away in 2000 and this is a bike he bought brand new as a youngster, until he had a nasty hit and run with a vehicle. I didn't start with bikes until after he died and think that would have been something that, with my career, he would have been proud of, and that we certainly could have had a mutual interest in, maybe getting him back on the road?
I've been wanting something from my year of birth 1970, but tbh, there's not much from that era that I fancy. So had the idea of getting the same thing that he bought?
Not really sure how to go about buying something that old mind you? I'm not very mechanically minded so keeping it on the road might be a challenge? The budget may be a challenge as well. And i'll probably have to get one that the wife doesn't know about until after it arrives, better to ask forgiveness etc...
