Absolutely. A stone classic. Leaves the original for dead.
I christened my Ducati 851 Prudence after the lyrics of that tune (the sun is up, the sky is blue, it's beautiful and so are you - dear Prudence won't you come out to play?)

Dunno about better, I reckon the lyrics are better but the singing mebbe not so much.
Personally I feel they did two great songs, Holiday In Cambodia and California Uber Alles and this ones OK.
Other opinions equally valid.
Realistically I was going to put Tainted Love up by the lanky goth but someone beat me to it, then Hurt by Johnny Cash and same again.
Dear Prudence? Got the Siouxie version and its about on par with the original. Spellbound pisses all over it but unless I missed something Spellbound isnt a cover.
That DK cover was the only other one I could think of offhand.
