I feel like I'm gonna real rusty when I get back on the bike, not ridden since the end of bastard October and not looking like the weather's gonna play ball for yet another week

I feel like that after being off on holiday for a couple of weeks. Takes a while to sharpen up your reactions again...Supermofo wrote: Sat Apr 01, 2023 10:02 am I feel like I'm gonna real rusty when I get back on the bike, not ridden since the end of bastard October and not looking like the weather's gonna play ball for yet another week
Cunts. That's not what you need any time.Ssray wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 8:05 am We had a 'gang' of peeps trying to steal my bike last night, I was in long, Tammy rang me, she was in bed and loud bangs outside, opened the ensuite with the light on, there were between 6-8 of them in masks.
I called the police who did a local check and came and saw Tammy was ok.
The lock held up so it's still here, new lock on it now, can't put it in the garage I'd have to move the car each time and I'd rather they took it than get into the garage
I've ordered a security WiFi light thing, it records and I can view it live and shout through it.
The zzr needs a new front wheel, it's not heavily damaged but it's bashed right at the bead and one sisc is bent, a bit of bodywork damage but not worth the insurance company getting
Makes my blood boil that these wankers go around taking people's tsuff they've worked to get.Ssray wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 8:05 am We had a 'gang' of peeps trying to steal my bike last night, I was in long, Tammy rang me, she was in bed and loud bangs outside, opened the ensuite with the light on, there were between 6-8 of them in masks.

Damn, thats annoying!! Normally the dedicated forums have the answers to these type questions. Is there a zzr1100 forum?Ssray wrote: Wed Jun 14, 2023 8:37 am The poxy rear wheel won't fit, different disc(which I bought) hugely different cushdrive set-up, I don't have the time or dosh to be messing around like that, so I'm looking for a plug and play version, seems some zx7/9's maybe but no concrete evidence on the net
Used to be a ZZR international forum but I think that’s gone now. It used to be a mine of information when I had my ZZR’s and wheel swapping was one of the topics I remember being discussed regularly.Taipan wrote: Wed Jun 14, 2023 9:53 amDamn, thats annoying!! Thanks, I'm a member of all of those, plus a few more, I'm thinking of looking up the cush drive rubbers part number and see what else they fit, then I should be able to get the correct sprocket carrier, the zrx12 wheel may still fit.ZRX61 wrote: Thu Jun 15, 2023 4:28 am This one:

I know people fit ZX11 wheels to ZRX's so it should be doable.Ssray wrote: Thu Jun 15, 2023 6:24 pm I'm thinking of looking up the cush drive rubbers part number and see what else they fit, then I should be able to get the correct sprocket carrier, the zrx12 wheel may still fit.
