First time i seen one of them in the metal was in Bradford in 85. Sitting in the middle of town with no security what i found odd. Only ever seen one other since what was a shitter in Edinburgh.

I mean what's the point?
If I was ever to have a collection it would be bikes I could jump on and ride, however infrequently.
You might as well take a picture of it and hang that on your wall.

Kind of agree but like art. Why own Monarch of the Glen, Mona Lisa or a van Gogh where a print will do.

To a point, yes.
But if you see a Mondrian 'grid' painting, prints or images never do them justice. They don't capture the texture and subtle changes.

And some artworks are intended to be prints, eg screenprints and lithographics, there won't be a single 'original'.

Good luck to whoever buys it but isn't it already way too expensive for what it is?
Reminds me of the Cosworth that sold at auction last year (?) when even the auction house even admitted it could never be sold for the same price again, the market was so narrowly bid.
