Looking at the weather forecast for the trip home Sunday looks like i will be travelling in full Goretex kit with the leathers in a roll bag on the back seat for Saturday

Due to a change in personal circumstances it's going to be very difficult (if not impossible) for me to do the Pembrey track day on Saturday. Is there anyone who would be able to take over my slot (Novice, Saturday) ? I will need to let Alan know the change of rider details before the event. I've also booked in for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday night, including breakfast) at Llanelli East Premier Inn, if anyone needs accommodation.

Ah crap. I honestly think if anyone on here were wanting to go, they'd have pinged me a message already. Again, the same with accommodation, but maybe one of GPs crew fancy a bed instead of a tent !

Yeah, I figured that would be the case, but thought I'd ask. The accommodation is for two people, as are the breakfasts.

Think our current plan is a mobile picnic on the way down , and of course, we're staying at the other place tomorrow night so we are currently not planning on eating there tomorrow night but we'll be over for beer etc once we get checked in - Kev is there all three nights though and am sure will be up for food there tomorrow.

Aww, that's a shame, would have been good to meet you but sounds like it's not to be this time- hope it's nothing too serious and there will be another time

Yes, I'd have liked to meet the faces behind the forum names, but I'm sure there will be another time. It's now gone from difficult to definitely impossible, so it will be a no-show from me I'm afraid.

Was out in session 1. I got lobbed in the lower group.

Let's just say it wasn't fast. After 3 laps an instructor came in front of me and we circulated together for 4-5 laps

He then came into the pits to give me a gentle talking to for my overtakes. Oops.

Bollocks to inters, just head straight for fast matey to get your eye in for riding the 890 tomorrow

Can't get my knee down in these leathers. Could be a bit due to MTB injury from a crash on Mon. But they certainly don't allow me to go full insect climbing all over the bike.

Damned if you do and Damned if you don’t.
Sometimes it is safer to carry on at your pace and make the pass. There could be one or more riders behind you and your not able to think for them. Suddenly slowing may be an invitation to get clattered.
Me, I’ll either make the manoeuvre or put my leg out as an indication that I’m not.
Just my opinion.

Just had an epic little battle, was sitting behind it as in a straight line it was flying! Well, for a naked. As I came out of a corner it blew me away each time.
How shocked was I when it was am MV Dragster. Well, not as shocked as when I saw it was an RC800 dragster! Jeepers it killed my XSR on the straights! Wowsers

The one hour that it rains today is the one hour I get my tyres done. Sorry @weeksy . It's not going to look clean ☹
