I'm sure there's plenty of people who'd like it... I hope I don't know any of them.

That's a stock SV650X.

The X is the 'cafe racer' version of the SV650, but you knew that.

I feel like it had potential, but they shot wide of the mark. Quite a ways wide.

I should start a new thread...

Ebay bikes I want to buy, but probably won't.

I've got a strange obsession with the last of the GSXR1100's. I might buy one some day, but they seem to have a bit of a following and prices are going up. So I started looking at the 750's.

There's something about up and over framed GSXR's that I really like.

It's local and it's pocket money, but I'll still not buy it.

On one of the FB racing forums, somebody just now, put up a video of TT Proddy race at Carnaby. A 21 year old Mr Whitham mullered them all on a GSXR1100

They're a nice enough bike, but by then they were blown into the weeds by the YZF and ZXRs, the SRAD was a huge step forward, they just feel old to ride.

They're cheap because they're in the no man's land between "classic" oil coolers and SRADs.

The only real 1100s worth talking about are the Slabsides and the "L"

I do have a hankering for the infamous "K" in black though.

It's a proper mullet of a bike, that.

Bobber at the front, scrambler at the back.

That's why he's selling it. He took a look and realised it'd be easier to start again.
