Congratulations !!!636mick wrote: Wed Sep 02, 2020 12:38 am Well, all I can say is thanks very much Revcomps.
Never having won anything in my life, and after reading this thread yesterday morning when I couldn’t sleep I invested some money, bought one ticket to win the “log cabin camper” .
Phone call last night, I won the camper plus £1000!
I have wanted a camper for about 30 years, never quite justified buying one, now I own one!!!
To say I am pleased would be a massive understatement, the girlfriend has already planned our first trip, off to Scotland.
Still can’t believe it.
Did I mention, it’s done out inside like a log cabin, complete with log burner!! Insurance could be fun.

Cheers,
Mick, one very very very happy man.
That's a Panigale or 2
Congratulations Mick, I’m going to phone Pete and ask for discounts seeing the amount of extra tickets they’ve sold on the back of my win.636mick wrote: Wed Sep 02, 2020 12:38 am Well, all I can say is thanks very much Revcomps.

better than any of you lot seem to have done with Premium Bonds that's for sure.Harry wrote: Thu Sep 03, 2020 5:20 am That's good odds I suppose, two winners off here in the last couple of months.
I've entered 2 in last 12 months.... but i'm not going to do it unless there's something i particularly want. At the moment, neither of the bikes are ones i want.Harry wrote: Thu Sep 03, 2020 8:15 amI do alright with mine, but it's not new cars every month.
The good thing about premium bonds is that if you don't win anything then no dramas, you can just take your money back whenever you want - but there is always a chance of winning big.
I'd enter these competitions but I'm not really into cars and I don't want a fancy new motor, so I'd only sell it anyway - and I bet it would be a pain in the arse trying to sell a high end motor like that.
I think that’s the draw of RevComps. The prizes are definitely sellable and the odds when compared to the high end comps are relatively low. I’ve decided to sell the Tuono so we’ll see how it goes. I just can’t justify having two bikes in the garage and needing to move house, whilst the mrs is still on maternity leave and hoping to go back part time.Harry wrote: Thu Sep 03, 2020 8:15 amI do alright with mine, but it's not new cars every month.

You might get a key to Micks camper, or a set of valve caps
Yeah, but it not cost me nothing, I don't lose my original stake if I don't win.weeksy wrote: Thu Sep 03, 2020 9:13 amYou might get a key to Micks camper, or a set of valve capsKungFooBob wrote: Thu Sep 03, 2020 9:12 amI got £25 this monthweeksy wrote: Thu Sep 03, 2020 7:32 am

So if you buy £10k of Premium Bonds, win nothing in 12 months and sell them back... you get £10k ? So it costs you the rate of inflation for 12 months, which is say 3% ? So it does cost you ?KungFooBob wrote: Thu Sep 03, 2020 9:14 amYeah, but it not cost me nothing, I don't lose my original stake if I don't win.
but if you invest £10 a month on these, you may win a £15k motorbike, still have half of the lost inflation and still have your £10k sitting in a savings account
BOTB do "lifestyle" comps each week - BIkes, pushbikes, watches etc..I've invested the occasional fiver in the bike section.Harry wrote: Thu Sep 03, 2020 8:15 am

Haven't read all the small print so not sure if residency status is a blocker though?
