Funny you’ve just got yours and mine was picked up this morning. I was gutted to see it go to be honest, but we’ve decided to move house and the cash will go a long way to getting the new place in shape for us. Easily the best bike I’ve owned. At least I can say that!

Well at least the money goes to something worthwhile mate, and you will always have your memories of riding it. Buy a sofa and every time you sit on it make motorbike noises!!
When I insured the camper I did it on monthly payments, just in case I decided to sell. Thought that was safest.
Planning a trip to Scotland now, bit of a shakedown trip.
Cheers, all the best,
Mick.

In the end I used Bemoto and paid it in one go, they just pro-rata’d it and I got a refund minus £60 cancellation fee.
You might want to check as I’ve been caught with that before. I sold a bike 3 months after I’d re-insured it on monthly payments. Carole Nash use a finance company and when I cancelled I was still liable for the payments. Lots of insurance companies are doing it that way now if you want to pay monthly.

Insured with LV in the end, after much phoning around. Nice easy process with them. I told them I was doing monthly just in case, they said there is an admin fee but they don’t usually bother if you’re over 6 months.
As an aside, just cancelled the scooter insurance with Swinton. £25 cancellation on a 50 quid policy!!! Eventually they agreed 8.99 instead. She told me it’s because they have to advise the underwriters, I asked if the small note gets delivered by Knights of the Realm, riding black chargers, killing serfs on the way. She said no, it’s by computer!!!!!!

Some lucky sod is going to win a house (or £310k) today for a £25 stake, or even at the occasional £15 discounted ticket price.

RevComps have introduced a new to them idea, if you buy a ticket to a weekly draw, you get entered into a Friday, I think, special for some tech goodies. Sort of double the chance to win.
Just for Info.

I’m going to buy a couple for this, what’s the chances of lightening striking twice?

We’re moving house at the end of the month, mainly due to the £10k I got for the Tuono. It’s only £10k in the grand scheme of things, but it’s money for the refurb, that I would have had to save up or put on credit cards. Being conservative I think I can triple it. If the housing market doesn’t collapse.

I'm surprised at how many double and even triple winners there on on the comp sites!!

I'd hand over my right bollock (it's the larger of the two as well) for that bike....

Reading this thread made me wonder what I had ever won in raffle-type competitions over the years and I can only think of once, when I got a call from my local pub saying I'd won a prize and the fella would drop it around.
Turned out to be a litre bottle of Gordon's Gin, which I can't abide, so I laughed and gave it back to him and told him to stick it in the next prize draw as it was for charidee, mate.
I'm not saying I'm unlucky, but I could fall in a barrel of tits and come out sucking my thumb.

Strange one this; win a Range Rover and a Nissan GTR on one ticket!

Love the Rangey but no interest in the GTR. I should go halves on a ticket with Julian!
