I've never ridden a bike with them before. The new bike has them.

First impressions are I really don't like them. Much less control.

They seem like such a bad idea. Does anyone get on with them?

I don't like them. Why buy into less leverage from a lever? I have ASV levers on the Zed,but they are the full size jobbies.

Probably a stunter's reason for them.

I liked them on the various bikes that had them. I didn't buy any of them, they were on the bikes when I bought them. I'm far too stingy to replace a working lever.

I've had 2 KTMs which had shorter levers than most standard bikes but not short, short if you know what I mean. They were fine, not sure I'd like some of the real short jobs though.

I found normal levers too long for me (little hands, short fingers ! ) - I liked short levers

I tried short levers for a short while, as somebody gave me a set. Took them off toot sweet and went back to standard. I really don't see the point in short levers; less leverage, less fine control and they look daft.

Hateful things. I like to have as much lever as possible to grab for in times of urgency.

Can anyone suggest a brand which will do long replacements?

I looked at ASV but they're something like £250 for the pair.

Ideally I'd like them to be black. I'd rather they didn't have some anti breaking hinge.

I broke a brake lever on my trip to Erope and rode over 4000 miles with a short stub. I won't be buying any stubby levers! Less control and probably less brake in an emergency.

Get some Temu ones that make the brakes drag slightly and overheat locking the front end solid after 10 miles.

Worth a punt? They don't *look* terrible.

Chinese sellers pump these things out in the millions, and all the ones I've bought have been excellent quality. I'd have a look on eBay or if you're feeling adventurous, AliExpress.

But not Temu...

Long levers are for women and children, real men with alpha male upper body strength can apply max breaking for with tiny levers, bollocks to all that fulcrum/pivot point crap.
