They're alright to start, better than a WR400

Possibly tightens significantly when you sit on it.

Looks a little tight for a dirt bike

Get it nice and hot... then stall it at the traffic lights :)

I did that with my XR250, it wasn't fun, especially as I'd just filtered to the front of the queue, my next dirt bike was a leccy start DRZ400

I had a kickstart only DR250 that I'd home tuned.

Once it was hot, you might as well not even bother trying to kick it for ten minutes at least.

I heard the KLX300 was almost impossible kick from hot.

The WR400 definitely was, started fine cold, but forget it hot.

I rode Stoo's at Beaulieu years back. Tons of grunt but I was shit scared to stall it on the track in case I had to start it again.

I had a wee bro up with a fella on one of these a few weeks ago. His bike did just fine, my KTM was faster, but the XR wasn't slow !

It wasn't nearly a trick as that one though !
