Obviously many of my pics end up in their own bike related thread, but i do appreciate others pics.

Yeah, I know I posted this pic in another thread but I'll put a bit more context here.

My mate messaged me saying 'come over to Rheola, there's an epic DH track that I want to have a scout around.'

A few bits of the track are unrideable because there's trees down, and the local mx riders have been using it as an 'up' track, but OMFG, there's some serious stuff on that track.
One of the drops is about 6 or 7 ft high depending on how far down you land.

The boy has raced Rheloa a few times now..

Bloody hell that was a cold commute this morning, probably -10C at the foot of the Downs at Glynde and Southease. My heated motorcycle gloves were on and I was wishing for heated boots!

Yeah but worth it for that

I'd love to be out but still trying to recover.

That downhill section looks like you might have to concentrate quite hard
Or did he just launch himself from the top and clear the roots?

Just man-flu mate, nothing to worry about. Almost sorted now but it's been a long week.

Every ride this year has been shit conditions so only photo is after I cleaned the bike

After weeks of horrendous weather and being out of commission for the last 10 days with a bloody awful cold I finally managed to get out on the Curtis today.

I hear/feel you mate.. It's actually looking great out there today, but i'm still full of whatever i had at weekend so i managed a 30 min stroll only. I'm hoping it holds till tomorrow and i get out.

Managed a ride to the pub and back last night, still horrendously snotty but it was a spectacular ride home.

Sunny singletrack and Downs. I seem to have forgotten how to ride round corners on greasy mud

Puncture fix test ride along the A27 cycle path, up Firle Beacon and back again. All good.
