Back on the old place someone had a nifty little 12v compressor. It was a vey neat, small size that you could secrete away under the seat type-of-thing? Anyone got anything small sized but capable of getting up to 40ish psi now?
TIA

Yes, i think they would. If I did get (yet another bastard) puncture, its just got to get enough air into the now plugged tyre to get me to a garage or home. They look bang on in terms of size and my kids are pressing me for a birthday prezzie idea, so thsi will fit the bill I reckon. Cheers.

I've got a couple of no name rechargeable ones from the rain forest, neither have let me down, both will do 40psi easily bit I've no idea if they go to 60.
But I do see that Noco now dabble in the compressor market, and they're a decent brand.

This one seems to have the best capacity, which I reckon would suit a motorbike tyre best?

Don't forget to work out if that fixed 'hose' will snake behind your brake discs and get onto the valve..

Good call. Fortunately its got side exit valves, so it shouldn't be a problem.

The Harley is a shit for it, I took a pair of 90 degree stems to the tyre shop when it had new rubber fitted, but totally forgot about them so in my spares drawer they sit.

I got one of these of Alibay

They're not as small as the bike pumps but it did inflate a himalayan rear tyre from flat to 30psi on half a charge.

I could be (and probably am) wrong, but I'm not so sure it will do a motorcycle tyre, at least from flat. The pressure is lower but the volume is a lot more.
Similar reason a compressor for a car tyre won't pump my padddleboard up to 20psi.

That was my concern too, hence going for the bigger capacity one...
Fast Inflation: Inflate up to four 29" MTB tyres or three 700x28mm road tyres in seconds on a single charge.
High Pressure Capability: Delivers a maximum pressure of 120 PSI (8 bar), suitable for a wide range of bikes.

I think the neatest one I've had (and it worked really well) came supplied with an MX5. They're a silly price if you do buy a branded Mazda one but I notice someone selling the whole kit in the original bag, including gloop etc for £25 on eBay. (Mazda want over £100 for one!

).

Kids gave me one for my birthday. I should let my tyre down and see how far towards 42psi it can get at some point...
