Myself and the missus are lucky enough to go for a week either side of Christmas to break up the weather in bronteland
I did like la palma but thatβs another story

Iβm from Denholme . Where men are men and sheep are scared stiff cos we all wear wellies

Leave him alone, poor bloke is reduced to drinking Budweiser. Can a man sink any lower?

Right then.
There are 4 main islands. Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
G.C. and Tenerife are highly populated and built up. A lot of the places feel like the mainland.
Here on Lanzarote it always feels like an island.
We visit Fuerteventura several times a year. Great to visit but it always seems scruffy and run-down. No appeal to live there.
If i won the lottery, I wouldn't leave this island. It's my perfect place.
We've travelled the world extensively and both feel this is the best place we've been.

I would choose lanzarote, because its seems to be at my level, boozy and scruffy

Tenerife seemd too posh for me, not visited the others.
