Long folding mirrors ?

My Van Van has bar end mirrors which work well for me but I am looking to buy a new
125 scooter to replace it with, rather than having bar end mirrors on the scooter I would like
to find some long stem folding mirrors.
I cant find any long ones though as most are 6-8 inches and I will probably need them to be longer.
Anyone know where I can get a set of loooong ones ?

No idea, but they'll vibrate like buggery. The longer the arm the more movement there will be at the end, unless they're built from scaffold tube

Take spanners to a Mod scooter rally?
Or check what's available for off-road use. Sure I've seen folding mirrors mentioned.

You'd think so but I had a pair (just one pair

) on my Lambretta and vibration wasn't a problem even though the mirrors weren't light. Maybe the vibration depends on length/resonance? Max vibration at a particular rev level and not a problem in the rest of the range maybe.

You really do not get very long folding mirrors; the "long stem" are usually only about 5-6".
Simplest solution; use regular folding mirrors, and extender such as Oxford Mirror Extenders that is what most people use to get the mirrors out of their way.

Have a look at 'Double Take' mirrors.
Used by lots of trail riders as they are easy to fold in and out, stay where they're put and give a good view behind.

Thanks for the link crust.
The max length of those seem to be 6 inches which wont be long enough.
I think I will extend the mirrors on the scooter (bought it today being delivered early next week)
just to see what length they need to be so I can see behind me then that will give me a better idea of what I need.
