We buy any house
We have a house we want to sell with sitting tenants. Has anyone on here ever sold a house this way. We know we won’t get full market value, we just want to get shut of it. The current tenants pay rent on time every month

I think the general thing with these companies are that they'll only end up offering you 60-70% of the value of the property.
After all, they don't really want your house, they want to make money?

Spoke to a couple when ours was up at £440k, they were coming in at £350k-360k. I got the impression they're generally reputable but often try to come down late in the day. Its a lot of cash to drop but if your priority is getting it sold, then maybe it worksNordboy wrote: Sat May 30, 2026 1:40 pm I think the general thing with these companies are that they'll only end up offering you 60-70% of the value of the property.

May be better to look for an estate agent that does commercial stuff. An existing landlord may be happy to buy property with a good tenant.
I had some issues selling in the past and spoke to a couple of instant purchase companies. 80% of market value is about the most they will pay.

My Sister wanted to offload a flat and they came in at a very low offer, which she agreed to, but they came back at the point of exchange with a necessary revised offer due to market changes of £20k lower!
She said no and they bailed on the whole deal. I gather thats their MO.

Before we bought our place we were in a rental that changed owners, they were happy to have good tenants in place.
